Montgomery Independent School District has engaged Gibson Consulting to provide the district with internal auditing services. The initial project, which began in June 2008, will be a review of procurement processes, including purchasing, contracting and accounts payable functions. Gibson will assess existing internal accounting controls and evaluate procedures documented in the Montgomery ISD Purchasing Manual, currently in draft form.
